My appartment is very retro with old furniture I even have a rotary phone and an 8 track. Am I wierd?

mid century furniture

I listen to records all my stereo equipment is vintage, I only like those tv’s with the knobs. I have funky patchwork quilts on my bed, my appliances are mid 20th century. Is there anyone else out there who thinks old stuff looks so much better than today’s crap?

Perfectly normal. My quilt is older than me… of course, half the patches are new.

I AGREE WITH YOU. My friends are into pier 1 etc.. i love old stuff. I have a hornets nest hanging in my living room. I bring the outdoors inside. i love to use junk to decorate my gardens. I think having your own thing shows you don’t live by what every one else does. You use your imagination. You always have a conversation piece in your home. COOL..

Come on now, you know Retro is the thing that is in style right now………I think you are braggin a bit, but that’s ok, job well done.

You, my dear, have TASTE !!! The retro/neuvo style never went out of style for me. I like a nice eclectic look and nothing sounds better than a 33-lp on a stereo. I keep skate-keys and I have mid-century furniture (1950’s). It was a good time then and the furnishings were well made. Thanks for appreciating what I grew up with!

Love vintage decor. The furniture is a better quality than the stuff they make now. I love old patch quilts and lace curtains. And antique picture frames I use and put old black and white family photo’s in them. You can pick up neat stuff at flea markets, yard sales and consignment shops. (cheap)

That stuff sounds great. Don’t part with it.
