Herman Miller is the BEST!!!! my dad was the vice president of Modusistema, who worked with Herman Miller, and they have by far the best chairs. its very comfortable, and it doesn’t strain your back. so I would definitely recommend it. Good Luck
I like them, but I had one for work. If I were going to buy one I am not sure I would think spending so much money on a chair was cost effective.
The springy seat material of the Aeron spreads the pressure of sitting out evenly and lets your blood circulate, and the adustable arms, and seat allow you to set the perfect ergonomic posture for computer work.
Last time I checked they were $800 which is a lot. There are some office chairs that cost $3000 though. You can get a decent office chair at Office Depot or the like for $300 or so.
The ont thing I did not like about the Aeron chair was the seat frame structure under your legs …. it can cut off the blood to your legs under your thighs if you do not have it adjusted right.
With all do respect to the others that responded, I have gone through several at work and I’m still unhappy. They are the most uncomfortable chairs I’ve ever used. Period.
